Wild Viper Killed a Duckling
Came right up to the house and killed one of the four ducklings, then put on a big show to show me how tough he is. I put him in a barrel and took him across the valley. Hopefully doesn’t find his way back.

Opuntia Fruit aka Prickly Pear from the Roadside
This yellow variety is as good as the best dragon fruit. Needs no water or fertilizer, grows wild everywhere. If you want it to grow somewhere new, just break off a pad and drop it on the ground.
Good companion for sweet peppers and grape vines. This one is under a grape trellis.
